Bachelor of Business Administration or BBA is a three years bachelor degree course. This course can be pursued by all three main streams students after finishing Higher Secondary Certificate Education. BBA courses are of three types, General BBA, BBA in Banking and Insurance and BBA in Computer Aided Management also known as CAM. BBA course allows students to develop in the field of Marketing, Business, Finance, HR Management, Sales, etc.

BBA Course Duration

Bachelor of Business Administration is a full time three years course. However, students can also pursue it in correspondence/ part-time mode. BBA is a semester based course. There are a total six semesters in three years of BBA. Each year consists of two semesters.  There are around 6-7 subjects in each semester. 

During BBA course, students will get trained in numerous aspects of business administration through classroom education and practical assignments. 

BBA Fees Structure 

The BBA fees of each institution varies per the standard of education, facilities and the type of institute. However, one can expect a minimum fee for 1 to 2.5 lakhs per annum. The tuition fees of BBA are budget friendly. Moreover, it is wise investment for the future. After completing BBA, students will get at least 3 lakhs per annum. It could be higher than 3 lakhs depending upon your skills and knowledge. 

BBA Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria of the BBA course is very simple. Students from any stream such as Science, Art and Commerce can pursue BBA courses. Well, it is more suitable for commerce stream students. 

  • Candidate must be an Indian student.
  • The age of candidate must not be less than 17 years. 
  • Candidates must have completed 10+2 education with mathematical or commerce background. 
  • Aspiring students must have scored an aggregate of 50% marks in 10+2 education. 
  • Some of the top ranked institutions conduct their own entrance examination to provide admission through a common entrance examination. Thus, students have to pass that examination to pursue BBA.

BBA Admission Process

The admission procedure of the BBA course is quite easy. The institutions offering BBA courses either provide direct admission to the candidates or provide admission through entrance examination and personal Interview. In direct admission procedure, the marks obtained by the students and their academic performance will be accumulated by the university.
