UPSEE result 2021 can be accessed through the online mode and the date for the announcement of the result is in last week of May 2021. The result can be checked by entering the eight digit roll number of the candidate on the official website of AKTU/UPTU. It contains answer keys as well.
Based on the marks obtained by the candidate, merit lists will be prepared and further counseling process will be conducted. The candidates who pass the examination and clear the cutoff marks are called or the counseling. As per the rules of the Uttar Pradesh Government, at least 25% marks for General Category and 20% marks for SC/ST category is required in order to secure a place in the merit list. A request for re-evaluation of the result can also be made by giving the application to the Registrar, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University Uttar Pradesh on the payment of Rs. 500/- for each paper within seven days of the declaration of the result.
Individual merit list for each course is prepared depending on the performance of the candidates in UPSEE 2021. The following are the factors which are taken into consideration while preparing the UPSEE Merit List are:
- The Number of candidates who appeared in the examination.
- The overall performance on the basis of the marks obtained in UPSEE 2019 examination
In case two or more candidates secure equal marks, then the Inter-se Merit of such candidates is decided based on the following points:
Merit points are given to the candidates on the basis of marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics sections of Paper 1.
The candidate who is younger in age will be given higher merit.
Lastly, Candidates who has committed lesser number of incorrect answers will be given higher merit rank.
After the declaration of result AKTU will conduct counselling process. The counselling process will be started in June/July 2021. The counselling will be held online after the document verification process. You may read UPSEE 2021 complete details here.
