Entrance Exams are the first step towards career. After basic education 10th/12th student enters in a specific field of career as medical, engineering, law, management etc. As per interest and capability student choose their field of career. To get admission in a desired course it is compulsory to appear in qualify in entrance exam.

Entrance examinations are the tool of measurement of capability, ability of the candidate to join concerned program/course. To get admission in any recognized program in India it is mandatory to qualify entrance.

There is different entrance tests state as well as national level. Every field has its state level and national level entrance exam except medical. Sine 2016 all state level entrance exams have been shifted in one national level exam called NEET. Engineering entrance exams are still conducted on both state and national levels.

Entrance exams serve as the pathway to get into the prestigious courses and colleges after completing 10+2. The nature of the entrance exam will vary according to the field of interest of the student. Students interested in Science and Technology will go for engineering entrance exams, while those interested in medical field will go for medical entrance exams. Simultaneously students wanting to pursue a career in management and law will go for management and law related entrance exams respectively. The entrance exams are categorized into Engineering, Medical, Management, Law, Agriculture and Pharmacy. Talking about courses entrance exams are broadly classified into two categories:

Undergraduate entrance exams and Post Graduate entrance exams.

Undergraduate entrance exams are conducted when the student has completed 10+2 level of education while Post Graduate entrance exams are conducted for those students who want to go for higher education and degrees.
