Common Admission Test CAT 2019 is one of the management Examination conducted at national level annually. - NTA has released the date for Entrance Examination of CAT 2019.
- Examination will be conducted on 24 November, 2019 on Sunday in two shifts by the 400 centers across the country. It is the compulsory Examination for 2020 MBA admissions in 20 IIMs and other top Management Colleges in India.

CAT 2019 Eligibility criteria
Interested candidates seeking for the CAT 2019 examination have to fulfill the required eligibility criteria to take the Exams. Eligibility criteria are mentioned below;
There is no age limit bar for the candidates wants to appear in the Exams.
Aspirants have to hold their bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks or equals to CGPA for General category candidates and 45% marks for the Candidate belonging to the ST/SC /OBC categories from a recognized University.
According to the procedure the candidates who are pursuing third year and waiting for the results, can also apply for the CAT Entrance examination 2019.
CAT 2019 Application Process
Application Process for the CAT 2019 will be start a week before the announcement of the Examination or other important dates. The Date finalize by the conducting body for the registration process is 05 August, 2019 and it will remain open for more than 1+ month, so the interested candidates have to go for the official site and register themselves for CAT 2019 Examinations. The last date of registration is 20 September, 2019.

CAT 2019 Examination Pattern
Common Admission Test CAT 2019 will be divided into 3 sections. CAT exams hours will be divided into two shifts morning and evening, each shift consist 180 minutes for Examination. Total 100 questions will be asked during the examination. Question will be divided into three sections of VARC, DILR and Quantitative ability type questions. There are 25 questions of Non MCQ category and 75 questions of MCQ; there is no minus marking in Non MCQ types Questions.
Minimum 70 to 90 percentile are required in each three sections for admission in IIMs and other B-Schools. Other than this Candidate must possess good academic profile and diversity for being admitted in IIMs.

CAT 2019 Examination Syllabus
During the last three years CAT Examination Syllabus has been considerably changed. Mostly changes are being done in the pattern of Questions and syllabus of Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehensive ability. Similarly there are few changes taken in Quantity Ability.
Verbal and Reading Comprehension
It consists verbal reasoning, antonyms, synonyms, sentence correction, fill in the blanks, idioms, syllogism and analogies.
Area graph, Line Graph, Chart, tables, venn Diagrams.
Cock and calendar, directions, Binary logic, Coding-decoding, Blood relation, Syllogism, linear and matrix arrangements.
Number system, Geometry, Simple and compound interest, Profit and Loss,Quadratic and Linear Expression, Algebra, ratio and Proportion, Time and work, trigonometry.
CAT 2019 Selection Procedure
CAT 2019 Selection Process will be divided into two sections. Candidates who will get qualified the cutoff marks will be called by the colleges and institutes for Group discussion, WAT and personal Interview. The Ratio is 1:4 for admission in IIMs but it varies from college to college.
Group discussion is a process for selection. In GD a topic is given to the formed group to discuss about the given topic. The topic can be related with general awareness and Current Affairs. By this process students knowledge, basic etiquettes and team building membership will be judged by the judges under a specified time.
Writing Ability Test
In writing Ability test student’s writing skill will be judged and sometimes a case study is given to solve and write the solution for it. Students can also be asked to write an essay on a given topic.
This round includes a panel of 4-5 interviewers to test the student’s communication skill, his academic profile, general behavior, family background and work experience.
CAT 2019 Admit Cards
The admit card is one of the important document for CAT Examinations. Once the date will be released for the Admit card students can download it by the official website of the CAT and requires to carry their Admit card with them to the Examination Centers along with the other necessary documents. The Admit card contains the details about the candidate’s name, venue of examination, Date of Exams, Roll no. and signature.
Steps for downloading Admit card 2019;

- Enter login and use ID and user password.
- Click on ‘login’ to proceed and open the account of the Student.
- Once the Account is successfully opened go to the given link and press it to download the admit card.
- Download it and keep it safely for future use.
- Admit card is valid only for a year.
