XGMT 2024 Overview 

XGMT 2024 stands for Xavier General Management Admission/Aptitude Test. It is carried out by Xavier University Bhubaneshwar. XGMT Exam Dates 2024

XGMT 2024 Eligibility Criteria 

XGMT Eligibility criteria is fixed by the examination conducting authority that should be fulfilled by each applicant seeking admission in Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneshwar. 

1. There is no age limit for candidates wishing to appear in the entrance test.
2. Minimum qualification required for XGMT is a bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognized University. 
3. They must have secured at least 55% marks in their respective subjects. 
4. Qualified candidates of CAT, XAT and GMAT can apply directly for admission without appearing in the entrance test. They are eligible to write WAT and appear in Personal interview sessions directly. 
5. CAT/XAT/GMAT scorecard holders must have secured a minimum of five hundred marks in their examination to be eligible for admission.

XGMT Registration Process 

To apply for Xavier University Bhubaneswar, candidates have to fill an application form available online. The registration has been done in month of January 2024. The application form must be filled correctly because inaccurate information may lead to cancellation of application form. Applicants have to fill their personal details as well as qualification details in the form. Also you have to attach scanned copies of the document for verification.

Steps to fill XGMT Application form

 Filling an application form is a four step process. Therefore, all in all, it is simple and fast. Follow the steps below for registration. 

Applicants have to visit the official website. Over there you have to register yourself by entering basic details as a registration process. After registration you will get a login ID and Password. 

Move on to the second step. Fill the application form of XGMT. Fill each section by entering correct information. 

In the third step, you have to upload your scanned photograph, Signature and other certificates if required. While uploading documents, follow the instructions provided by the management. After filling and uploading move on to the fourth step. 

Fourth step is payment. Candidates can pay their application fees by any online payment mode.

XGMT Application fees

Candidates have to pay application fees in the last step of filling the application form. You can make payment by using net banking, debit card or credit card. It is not refundable. However, application fees of XGMT are the same for all categories. Without payment, the application form will not be accepted by the KEA. 

Application fees of XGMT is 1600 Rupees. Rupees 800 will be charged as additional charges for choosing any further program. Additionally, candidates have to pay 1200 rupees for other entrance examinations such as XGMAT. 

Examination pattern 

If you are a XGMT aspirant then you must have to know the examination pattern for early preparations. Examination will be conducted online for two hours. Other necessary details of examination pattern is given below;

1. Examination paper is in English medium. 
2. Multiple choice questions will be asked in examination.
3. Question paper is divided into four sections. 
4. Nature of examination is very much prominent in other management entrance examinations.
5. Queries of four sections will appear in an irregular way which means that you never know what should be the next section. 
6. KEA has set time limits for different sections. Therefore, candidates have to finish the section in a given time. 
7. Candidates cannot go back to the previous section. 
8. Negative marking scheme is followed by management for incorrect answers. 

XGMT Syllabus 

Since, there are four sections in the question paper. Thus, subjects of XGMT are namely;

• Quantitative Aptitude.
• Verbal Ability and Logical Aptitude.
• Data Interpretation.
• Emotional Quotient and General Awareness.

XGMT 2024 Admit Card 

Admit cards of XGMT will be released in 20th January, 2024. Admit card includes, name of the candidate, date, place, application number, duration, signature, subjects, etc. Candidates can download their admit card by visiting the official website.

 It is compulsory for all candidates to carry a printed copy of admit card to the examination centre. Admit card is your entry pass or hall ticket, without admit card you will not be allowed. Steps to download admit cards are easy. 

1. Simply go to the official website. 
2. Enter login credentials for downloading admit cards.
3. In a few seconds, your admit card will appear on the screen. 
4. Click on the download to save it.
5. Now take a print out and keep it safely for examination.

XGMT 2024 Results 

Candidates can acquire their scorecard directly from the official website. You can check your results by providing login details. Results of XGMT will be announced in the first week of February, 2024.

Results contain the name of candidate, roll number, course for which he/she has applied, marks obtained division wise and total marks. Merit list of shortlisted candidates based on the marks will soon be prepared by the exam conducting body. 

XGMT Cut-off marks

After releasing the results, Xavier Institute of Management will prepare a merit list of qualified candidates. XIMB is the only institute for preparing a list of shortlisted candidates. Minimum cut-off marks will be dependent upon the number of candidates appeared in the entrance examination. 

Aspirants have to achieve minimum cut-off marks to get admission. Moreover, cut-off marks will also depend on the number of vacant seats and difficulty level of examination. Cut-off marks vary according to the category. 

Admission procedure 

Admission of the candidate will be based on the basis of marks acquired in the entrance examination. Moreover, short-listed candidates will be invited by the institute for participating in other selection rounds such as Group Discussion, Writing Ability Test and Personal Interaction at Bhubaneshwar, Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata or Hyderabad. 

Final selection of the candidate depends on the marks achieved in examination and performance in other selection rounds. Additionally, your academic performance, behavior, experience, communication skills, etc. are also considered. 

Preparation tips 

There are some of the important tips that the candidate must follow in order to crack the exam successfully:

• The syllabus is the most important attribute of the exam entity. It must be followed with care. There is no specific syllabus but still, the topics that are mentioned above must be prepared.
• Keep a record of proper notes whenever you feel like making it. It would help you in following a daily routine.
• Make the use of mock test papers to solve various logical questions for the exam. You can also try other competitive books.
• Also, make a daily schedule for each subject. This schedule will help you to keep consistency in your work.
