AIIMS 2019 exam date has been released by All India Institute of Medical Sciences. AIIMS organizes national level entrance exam for admission to MBBS course. The institution has almost 9 branches located in New Delhi, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Guntur, Jodhpur, Nagpur, Patna, Raipur and Rishikesh.  Every AIIMS institution has its own capacity of seats like 100, 100 50 etc. The conducting authority of examination is AIIMS New Delhi.

AIIMS 2019 Eligibility Criteria

This the first and basic information before proceeding for online application. Please proceed when you meet with following required eligibility criteria-

AIIMS 2019 Age limit

The age limit is as other UG-medical entrance examination. The candidate must be at least 17 years old as on 31st December, 2019

Candidate born on or after 2nd Jan, 2019 are not eligible to appear in AIIMS MBBS 2019 examination.

Academic qualification to appear in AIIMS MBBS 2019

Candidate must have passed 10+2 with physics, chemistry, biology and English as a compulsory subject with minimum aggregate marks.

AIIMS 2019 Application form for Admission to MBBS Course

Candidates who want to appear in entrance examination conducted by AIIMS, need to submit online application form in prescribed format. The start date of online application form has not been declared yet but it will be officially available at

To submit AIIMS 2019 online application, candidate must register first at official website. After the registration fill all required fields such as educational qualification details, gender, candidate’s category and examination center etc. Upload photograph, sign and thumb impression in prescribed format and dimension. After all candidate need to pay application fees.

The online application form should be submitted correctly. Try to submit your application in starting dates, you may face several technical issues while submitting at ending dates.

AIIMS 2019 Exam pattern

The success in the examination comes when you prepare according exam pattern and prescribed syllabus. It is very important to know AIIMS MBBS exam pattern, some of you may be aware of this and some not.

In every academic year AIIMS releases information brochure containing all the necessary information related to entrance examination and MBBS programs, fee structure etc. according their official notification we are giving you exam pattern.

Exam Duration – 3.5 Hours

Computer Based Test (CBT)

Make sure, AIIMS MBBS is computer based test conducted at national level. It is just an online examination, applicants are allotted examination center according their choices/preferences. Login credential are provided in the examination hall to start the test.

Multiple Choices questions (MCQs) and Reasoning Assertion questions (RAQ)

Total number of questions are 200 to be asked. They all are from prescribed topics and syllabus-

AIIMS 2019 marking scheme

Every correct answer is rewarded by +1 mark and 1/3 mark will be deducted on wrong answer. No mark will be provided for attempted questions. So aspirants there are negative marking scheme in AIIMS MBBS 2019, be careful while attempting the questions. Answer the question when you are confident about answer.

AIIMS 2019 Admit Card/Hall ticket

Since the examination is scheduled to be conducted on 25 & 26th May 2019. The mode of examination is online based on computer based test (CBT). AIIMS will release admit card to all candidates who have submitted their application successfully.

The AIIMS MBBS admit card will be uploaded on official website in 1st or 2nd week of May 2019. Candidate may able to download their admit card by entering login credentials. No admit card will be issued offline.

 AIIMS 2019 Result

AIIMS has also announced the result declaration date in its notification. The result is like to be declare on 12th June 2019 at After the declaration of entrance result cut off merit will be published by AIIMS, New Delhi.

AIIMS MBBS 2019 cut off marks

Cut off score is the minimum eligibility criteria to appear in counselling. The cut off score is defferent as per category candidate, check AIIMS 2019 cut off score as per category-

  • General category candidates: 50%
  • OBC category candidates: 45%
  • SC/ ST category candidates: 40%
  • PWBD candidates: cut off of respective category.

AIIMS 2019 Counselling for MBBS

After the declaration of result and cut off score, counselling process will start. AIIMS, New Delhi will conducted a centralized online counselling for all its qualified candidates. The centralized online counselling will include all AIIMS AIIMS New Delhi, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Guntur, Jodhpur, Nagpur, Patna, Raipur, Rishikesh.
