All India Institute of Medical Sciences has released AIIMS PG 2019 online application on 31st August 2018. The online application can be submitted up to 20th Sept 2018 through AIIMS official website. AIIMS PG is national level entrance exam to be conducted for admission to Medical PG courses such as MD/MS/MDS, DM & MCh.
Candidates who appear in qualify AIIMS PG exam, are admitted in AIIMS medical institutes across India. I would like to inform you, The AIIMS PG is conducted two times in a year, January & July. For January 2019 session online application is live.

AIIMS PG 2019 Eligibility Criteria
Candidate who want to apply for AIIMS Post graduate entrance test for admission to Medical PG courses, must meet with following eligibility criteria-
Candidate must have completed MBBS for MD/MS & BDS for MDS degree successfully from a university recognized by medical council of India & Dental council of India.
It is mandatory to complete 12 months rotating internship on or before 30th January 2019.
Requirement of minimum marks in MBBS
Candidates who belong to General and OBC category, must obtained 55% in aggregate, SC/SST 50% in their qualifying examination (MBBS/BDS).
AIIMS PG Exam Pattern – An overview
Mode of examination | The examination is to be conducted as computer based test (CBT) |
Duration of examination | 180 minutes for MD/MS course and 90 minutes for MDS course |
Medium of examination | The question paper will be in single language, English |
Questions and types | All the questions will be MCQs. There will be total 200 questions for MD/MS and 90 for MDS program. |
Marking | 1 marks will be rewarded for each correct answer. |
Negative marking | 0.33 will be deducted for every wrong answer. |
AIIMS PG 2019 Syllabus
The syllabus includes all the topics from MBBS course what candidate has studied already for MD/MS program. MDS syllabus includes topics from BDS level. Candidate should prepare their topics accordingly to get good score.
AIIMS PG admit card 2019
Candidates who have submitted their application online through AIIMS official website and paid prescribed application fees, will be able to download admit card. The AIIMS will release admit cards for eligible candidates in the month of October 2018.
Candidates will be able to download and print their admit card by entering login credential or roll number along with date of birth. The examination has been scheduled on 18th November for January 2019 academic session.
AIIMS PG 2019 Result Announcement
AIIMS will release the entrance exam result for PG program on 23rd November, 2018 for 6 years course and on 8th November, 2018 for 3 years courses.
All the candidates who appeared in entrance exam conducted by AIIMS, will check the result online through official website. No offline result will be published by AIIMS. After publication of result, cutoff will be released.
AIIMS PG 2019 counselling process
AIIMS PG counselling will be conducted by All India Institute of Medical sciences after the declaration of result and cutoff. The counselling will be organized online. Candidates will be informed later with complete event schedules and guidelines.
